mr. J.B.Th. (Bart) van 't Grunewold

After his studies in Dutch law at the University of Utrecht Bart van ’t Grunewold was admitted to the bar in 1985. He joined his father's law firm. When the latter retired in 1988, Bart independently carried on the law firm until 1994. Thereafter Bart started to work with Van Boven & Van der Bruggen Advocaten and became a partner in 1996. Bart has completed the specialist course in civil construction law at the Netherlands Institute for Construction Law. He also acts as secretary of the disputes committee of a railway and tramway association.

Register of legal practice areas
Bart has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):
-        tendering law
-        real estate law (construction law, neighboring law, easements and leasehold)
Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
